Editing…I’ve tried to assemble the back rest again and it works now. Important to notice that the black fabric is where the cushions are going to stay so you know which side is the right side.4 stars just because the assembling instructions are not clear enough. The back rest doesn't go all the way in the slot. I assembled this with another person and no matter how much we try pushing the back rest down, it wont go any further. We put so much pressure, even sitting on top of it to check if it was not assembled correctly, but still the back rest won’t slide all the way down. As a consequence, the back is at a weird angle. I would return this if i could but too much hassle since I’m on the second floor and the defection could only be detected when we put everything together. The couch is super comfy and fits nicely in small spaces, but my cat- who is normally a very good girl- goes nuts because of the woven fabric. It also isn't the type of material that looks ok a little scratched up, its very noticeable. Get a good sofa cover or get a better behaved cat and you'll be fine. This was fairly easy to put together. I actually was able to sleep on it (I’m 5’5”) but wouldn’t recommend that for more than 1-2 nights. Overall, good couch for the price. I needed something inexpensive yet comfortable to sit on and that’s what I got.If you're like me and have spent the last few days staring at small sofas on Amazon until they blur into a molten blob of cheap polyester... get this one.I was stuck trying to make a decision for almost a week and finally got this one because the grey color is on sale for around 200$, and it seemed to be similar to other sofas I had stared at that cost 300-400Even at closer to $400 I don't know how much better you can do. Let's go over the main issues for these cheap sofas:- Size:It's a real sized loveseat. You won't get it and feel like you got tricked into buying a dollhouse accessory. It fits me, a 5'11" 200lbs+ guy comfortably, on just one half of the seat. Another person my size could sit next to me, and we wouldn't even be touching. And it's space efficient. It has that much space for sitting but still for my NYC shoebox of an apartment. The measurements they list are exactly on point, and there's no pointless oversized scroll shaped arm wasting space.- Cushion Material:Long term is always the gamble, but right now it's perfect. Firm enough to not feel like I'm sinking, soft enough to be comfortable. Good bounce to it.If sit really weird, I can just barely feel the harder bench part of the seat under my thigh... but it's not uncomfortable and I'm a bigger guy, most people would probably not feel it (and I had to really sit weird- Surface MaterialSmooth enough. I don't know what a good sofa surface is supposed to be, but I like it. Not scratchy.Cushions have a slight smell if you put your nose in them, so don't put your nose in them. (I also took them out of their vacuum sealed bag 20 minutes ago so, so there's no way they already aired out)The "cheapest" looking part of the sofa is the wrinkles where the cushion pillow things meet the arms. It doesn't look bad, but if you want a more visually pleasing couch, order 18x18 throw pillows and covers.- Assembly:Some of these sofas seem to want you to play the role of a factory assembly line putting together tiny pieces...This one has like 6 pieces. Of which two of them are the pillow cushions, and the rest slide together. It barely takes 5 minutes to do that, and I was doing it alone.Protip if you're doing it alone: Put the large middle section on the ground with the front facing down. Then slide both arms on, and tilt the whole thing back... and you're pretty much done- Weight CapacityWhen you put it together, you realize they really thought it through, all the weight you apply forces the pieces closer together.End result is (literally) 0 wobble, and more importantly, it won't undo itself over time- Color:It's salt and pepper grey. I came close to shelling out the extra 200$ for the pear colored one before coming to my senses, and I'm glad I did. This color matches a lot of other colors, the pear one probably would not look as good in this roomAaaaand that's it.Now I literally just put it together, and usually people leave glowing reviews then come back with 10 updates about how their first child was taken in exchange for a refund...But that being said, I've had good experiences with Zinus furniture, and I genuinely think this is an insane deal at <300$ and still good if you end up paying a little moreExpecting it to be more cushiony. You get what you pay for. Honestly still a great couch. If your on the taller side get a foot cushion so you can lounge on the couch.Pretty decent couch for the price it’s not the most comfortable but it works and I feel like it will become softer over time. I added a blanket because the material feels like a softer burlap and it’s a bit scratchy but the blanket helps. Took me maybe 5 mins to assemble by myself. Would recommend for small spacesI love my Jackie couch for my small space. It fits perfectly and is very nice looking. It's a bit hard and I've had it for over a month to break it in. It's a great value -- I just wish it was slightly comfier for my fibromyalgia.I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. I am not someone who likes to put things together so I was doubly surprised that it was easy for me to put it together. By myself! The most troublesome part was just to get it out of its box. And to get the box out of the living room. Once the box was out of the way, It’s slid together easily and effortlessly. And it’s comfortable! I wasn’t sure that it would be. I thought that perhaps it would just become some thing that sits in the corner but I actually use it every day. Great find.I have to admit that this couch was good for the first month and a half. And then I felt the disappointment. This was a house warming gift from my mother to my wife and I. We wanted something small and that could fit in our small house for a year at max. This couch seemed to fit in we’ll and had a nice finish/ texture to it.Three and a half months later I very much regret getting this couch. There is no back support whatsoever as the cushions that you sit on lost all support and firmness. The center seems to be caving in and I’m already thinking of ways to add support to its cushions. The back is also too short, even for a short person like myself. It is so hard find a comfortable position where you can have proper upper shoulder/neck support. To add, the material used for the cushion and couch material seems to add a lot more static on me. I cover the cushions and pads with a small blanket to make it more comfortable and less ”shocky”.one star for the fact that It’s comfortable however to sleep on for a short nap.I just feel sad that this ended up being a gift from my mother who doesn’t work anymore and spent what is a fair deal for her on this not so worth it couch. I wish I can return it...Perfect size for our home!I had my eye on this couch while it was “out of stock” so when it became available I jumped on it!It’s perfect for the space and our family.I know lots of people come back after a couple months saying it’s not comfy but I don’t predict us having that issue. It’s not the main couch. However - for the price I wouldn’t even care if it wasn’t comfy. It’s exactly what we neededI really like the fabric and color of this couch. It is fairly comfortable to sit on. It is relatively easy to assemble but needs 2 people for assembly. Good value for the price. The cushion of the sofa are too soft, you will sink into it and after a short period of time it will make you feel unconfortable.Beside that, the sizes in the images are wrong, the sofa is taller than 31.5", if you are a short person like me your feet won't touch the floor. I talked with support and they told me they couldn't send the legs of the right size because that is not cover in the warranty, and never change the image to show the correct size of the sofa. The back cushions aren't great for support and uncomfortable. Even if you add extra pillows for back support, it shortens the sitting area due to it being shallow. This is not a good couch for lounging and relaxing on. The fabric is also a bit scrathy.
