First of all I want to say that these blankets are great. I ordered one for myself 2 years ago. Then they had so many patterns to choose from. They don't have as many now.My family & friends would come over and would always use it and say how much they loved it. It's so soft and beautiful. Perfect for the couch. So I ordered one for my mom & one for my adult step son who always say they want to "take mine" haha.Moms came 1st and it was here next day. It was perfect. I put in a gift basket with other things and she loved it all. Her face when she realized it was a blanket just like mine was priceless. Made me so happy to be able to gift her something I knew she loved.But now today.... my step son's blanket came in the mail and there was a tore up IPad box shoved right inside the nice plastic zip bag that it comes in. Right next to the blanket. The blanket seems fine and I don't have time to return, but how disappointing to get someone's trash right in the product packaging that is supposed to be brand new. Very off-putting. So this is why I took one star away. Just... how does it even get sent like that? We don't have apple products in our home. Didn't order anything close to it. Just someone's garbage shoved in the bag with my order.... :(I did report it to Amazon customer service & they did apologize & help me.I love this blanket. It’s beautiful. I got the color Orange hoping it wasn’t really orange. It’s not. Same color as depicted. Peachy gold. Would blend with most color schemes. The material side is a plush velour satin w/slight pattern. The Sherpa side is soft and provides the right amount of warmth. I bought 2, so no one would be fighting over it. Very pleased. I wish there were more colors to choose from as they’d make elegant gift for the person whose hard to buy for.Love how soft and how substantial this blanket is! Great quality! Love!This is very soft and warm. So far this winter this is the only cover I use that’s how warm it isI love the color and the softness and so did my friends. I use them on my new sofas to protect from cat hair and my cats love them too. I have not wash them yet so will update these later when I do. I bought the largest but really wish I could have ordered a larger size to cover the back and seat of the loveseat and have it not all off the back when you sit down(I have been noticing lately that the description of how most of my orders are delivered and almost all incorrect these days. It didn't used to be that way. This one stated it was delivered to my mailbox - which is not near my home - but it was not. It was left on my front porch)When I purchased this I didn't realize it was only blue on one side but it still worked out perfect . Its very soft and I loved the color.It is soft on both sides. A good cuddling blanket.I was a little disappointed by this blanket. It’s beautiful on the design side and the Sherpa side is soft. But the design side doesn’t feel comfy and soft like I was hoping. It just feels thin and cheap and it’s not something I want to run my hands over. When I washed and dried it on gentle cycle it kind of bunched up in a funny way so now I don’t really want to use it as a blanket to snuggle with but more for decoration now to cover my couch. Not a total loss but not as good as I was hoping for.
